NEW YORK – August 15, 2015 – Unrapp, LLC announced the launch of Unrapp, a mobile app which allows users to send images where the recipient must then virtually "“Unrapp" ”the gift in order to view the image on their device while the front camera records their reaction.
Co-founder Steven Strohl brainstormed the app after a series of disappointing experiences sharing big news and holiday gifts with his family in another state. “I missed witnessing the raw reactions and emotions that are expressed. Unrapp has the ability to change the way users experience engagements, sonograms and other life milestones. It bridges the gap between long distance loved ones, especially those that are deployed or in a different time zone.”
In v1.0, Unrapp will focus on sharing images. By Winter 2015, Unrapp, LLC plans to offer in-app gift purchases and partner with third party merchants as well as platforms for sponsored users such as businesses, artists, and celebrities to engage with followers.
Unrappis available for immediate download in Apple’s App Store free while a version for the Android Marketplace is still under development.
